Philip Appiah Spartan: Memorial Fund

Hi my name is Kyle- a team of my colleagues and I are raising money to support the family of a friend and colleague Philip Appiah's who lost his life this holiday season. Philip passed away in Abu Dhabi after being struck by a car, while en route to arrange for a flight home to Ghana to be with his family for Christmas. He traveled to Abu Dahbi for work to provide for his loved ones back home in Ghana. Phillip was a smart, hard working and enthusiastic worker for the Spartan Arabia team. He never complained and always brought a smile to the face of those he worked beside. I was lucky enough to work with Philip setting up the course for the 2022 Spartan World Championships! During my time with him he always kept me laughing and smiling with his contagious smile, positive outlook, and kind words, even in the face of adversity! Thank you in advance for your gracious donation - all proceeds will go to supporting his family financially just as Philip would have done himself. 

Transfer Plan:

Currently GOFUNDME does not support direct transfers to Ghana. This means the money will be withdrawn by a designated fundraiser team member and wire transferred to the family's account. The team wants to be transparent that the funds are designed and raised to be given the Philips mother Grace.
